COVID-19 Antibody Test

Measure your current COVID-19 antibody levels from 0 AU/mL to 40,000 AU/mL to find out if you may have sufficient antibodies from prior vaccination and/or prior infection.

A simple at-home blood test that measures the level of SARS-COV-2 IgG antibodies in your blood, using a patented, painless blood collection device.
99.4% sensitivity and >99% specificity, analysed with Abbott Quant assay.

How can a COVID-19 Antibody Test benefit you?

The COVID-19  antibody test can show you:
  • If your antibody levels are high enough to help protect your body from severe symptoms.*
  • If it’s likely you’ve had a COVID-19 infection in the past.
What's measured?
The test measures the level of SARS-COV-2 IgG antibodies in your blood from 0 AU/mL to 40,000 AU/mL. Antibodies decline over time at rates varied from person to person.
Painless
Enjoy a painless testing process with the innovative, CE-certified TAP II device from the comfort of your home. Sample collection is as easy as a push of a button.
*These antibodies are a marker of your protection against COVID-19, but they do not guarantee that you are immune to getting COVID-19.

What your results mean

Positive
tick sign
A positive result (≥50.0AU/mL) means your immune system may have sufficient antibodies to protect against and prevent severe symptoms, hospitalisation, and death caused by COVID-19.
Negative
exclamation sign
A negative result (<50.0AU/mL) means your immune system may not have developed sufficient antibodies to protect yourself against COVID-19.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's measured?
COVID-19 antibodies are proteins that your immune system makes to fight the COVID-19 virus and protect you from getting severly ill. They play a key role in building immunity against the virus. Antibody levels generally decline over time, after vaccination or prior infection. The antibodies amount, duration and declination rate vary from person-to-person.
What can the test result tell me?
A positive antibody test result indicates your immune system may have sufficient antibodies to prevent severe symptoms, hospitalisation, and death caused by COVID-19.
A negative result means your immune system may not have sufficient antibodies to protect yourself against COVID-19.
What factors can affect my test result?
Antibody Test: Immunocompromised individuals may have reduced antibody levels from vaccination and past infections.

Immunocompromised patients who have COVID-19 infection may have a delayed antibody response and produce levels of antibody which may not be detected as positive by the assay.

The persistence of a SARS-CoV-2 immune response has not been fully established. Negative results may be observed due to a decline in antibody titer over time.
How accurate is the test?
Based on validated studies, the analytical test performance is measured at 99.9% sensitivity and specificity in the detection of COVID-19 for both the Coyote Biosciences test kit and both CDC-approved test kits. As is the case for standard lab testing protocols, Prenetics is expected to perform an extra confirmatory test for any positive tests using the same sample. This is to ensure positive results are, indeed, positive. Individuals will not need to submit a new sample.
Who is this test suitable for?
This test may be of particular interest to: Individuals who want to monitor their antibody levels over time and who have been partially or fully vaccinated for at least 2 weeks

Individuals who have recovered from COVID-19, more than 2 weeks after symptom onset, to understand the status of their COVID-19 antibody levels

Individuals who want to understand their COVID-19 antibody levels from previous vaccines and before receiving a booster shot

Individuals who have not been previously diagnosed with COVID-19 or received COVID-19 vaccine and want to know if they have been previously exposed to the SARS-CoV2 virus

The test is intended for adults above age 18 only.

Note: An antibody test is not recommended: Until at least 14 days after the onset of symptoms for those who have been recently infected.

For those who have recently been vaccinated, it typically takes 2 to 3 weeks for your body to make antibodies after the first dose of vaccination.
